Teradyne Sr Software Engineer - GUI in Alajuela, Costa Rica

Functions/Accountabilities/Duties
• Maintain and extend GUI Tools, programs, and libraries for existing products
• Work with the Applications group to solve customer problems
• Design and develop Diagnostics and Calibration test programs
• Work with the Software QA group to create automated test suites

Basic Qualifications & Skills
• Electronics/Software Engineering degree or similar; BS with 5+ years of experience
• Knowledge of MFC Application Development (1+ year of experience)
• Strong C++ Object Oriented programming skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and the STL Library
• Proficiency with a source code control system (GIT preferred)

Additional Qualifications
In addition, any of the following skills help a candidate stand out:
• Experience working with GUI Development in C#
• Experience working with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)
• Device Driver design and development
• Instrument control design and development
• Recognize common digital and analog circuit elements
• Experience with communication protocols such as GPIB, I2C, SPI, PCIe, etc
