Teradyne Production/Material Planner in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines
Responsibilities
• Reviews stocking level and inventories for Consumable Parts.
• Set up and performs Plan Level review.
• Prepares and manages Consumable spare parts budget.
• Initiates New Buys and stock replenishments to worldwide stocking centers.
• Reviews & provides disposition for excess and obsolete materials.
• Establish inventory strategies that help achieve business metrics of on time delivery while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Escalate and resolve critical issues within the Supply Chain.
• Quickly adapts to any changes in customer requests by doing supply chain simulations with suppliers to provide the best delivery date possible.
• Work with Supplier Management Team to reduce material delivery times and cost.
• Ability to clearly communicate to Senior Management.
• Work with different groups in the organization to help resolve customers and/or vendors part concerns.
• Product Sustainability Review
• Performs any other tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
• Preferably a graduate of BS Industrial Eng’g or its equivalent
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in completing reviews in MS Excel & Access.
• With high sense of urgency & can interface with different level of positions in the organization worldwide
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills
• High mathematical ability
• Willing to work on shifting schedules as the need arises.
