Teradyne Instrument Extension Engineer in Cebu, Philippines

Duties & Responsibilities:

He/she shall be responsible in test equipment programs, verification and validation, upgrade and/or repair of Instrument Extension products. He/she shall closely work with other engineers and other divisions for process and quality improvements.

Will act as PSG support for instrument extension products.

Uses all digital and analog electronic test equipment and test systems to do board failure analysis and debugging. Will support new product transfer startup/set-up, and the improvement of the failure analysis process of instrument extension products.

Other responsibilities include asset utilization and participation on quality improvement teams through the use of TQM concepts.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent courses

  • Has a high sense of urgency and can interface with different level of positions in the organization

  • High analytical skills

  • Knowledgeable in Windows based application (Visual Basic) and C++ programming is an advantage

  • Strong background in process control tools is required
