Teradyne Hardware Engineer in Fridley, Minnesota
Utilize existing skills of RF circuit design and applied electromagnetics to simulate full path from instrument driver/receiver circuits to the DUT (Device under test) reducing crosstalk and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) radiation and sensitivity. Create technical reports for engineering management with simulation and prototype results and recommendations. Clock circuit design, implementation, and documentation. Perform prototype planning, characterization, and analysis. Utilize experience in printed circuit board RF design for low noise and signal integrity, electromagnetic radiation and susceptibility. Utilize existing knowledge and skill with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc. to perform instrument design verification and adherence to specifications.

Basic Qualifications & Skills
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electromagnetic Engineering or a closely related field and five years of work experience in the job offered or related fields of Clock Signal Distribution and Low Noise RF Hardware design; or in the alternative, a Master’s degree or equivalent in the above fields and three years of work experience.If qualifying by Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, must have at least five years’ experience working with Random and Deterministic Jitter; at least five years’ simulation experience with IBIS and/or Spice; at least five years’ experience with electromagnetic radiation and susceptibility; and at least five years’ experience working with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and Phase Noise measurements. If qualifying by Master’s degree or equivalent, must have at least three years’ experience working with Random and Deterministic Jitter; at least three years’ simulation experience with IBIS and/or Spice; at least three years’ experience with electromagnetic radiation and susceptibility; and at least three years’ experience working with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers and Phase Noise measurements.
