Teradyne Field Application Engineer in Jubei City, Taiwan

Organization & Role

The Teradyne Global Customer Service team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provides test solutions, test programs development and production support for customers products or IP.

  • Perform test correlation and data analysis, support release for production.

  • Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations.

  • Provides software/hardware development and consultation.

  • Develop tools to support customer test program generation and data analysis.

  • Provides technical expertise and value to customers.

  • Provide training, test solutions, test program release and troubleshooting to customers via on-site, remote or overseas travel.

  • Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.

  • May build application solutions based on customer requirements enhancing the product performance allowing it to become the platform of choice (design-ins).

    Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years semiconductors ATE experience.

  • Test/Product engineering experience in analog, digital, mixed signal and RF testing and test development preferred

  • Knowledge and experience on Teradyne ATE platforms, such as UltraFLEX+, UltraFLEX, Flex, J750, Magnum, Eagle or other semiconductor ATE platforms

  • Proficient knowledge and experience of VB, C/C++/C#, Perl or Python languages and Microsoft Windows environment

  • Strong logical analysis ability and practical problem-solving ability.

  • Good skills on statistical software tools and Excel VBA for complex data analysis and report.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English.

  • Able to handle dynamic work environment with pressure and quick changes.

  • Good teamwork and willing to learn.

  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Good attitude to work and enthusiastic to work.

  • Basic understanding of Electrical theory, digital logic and circuit schematic tracing, with memory testing is preferred.

    Education:

    Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Micro-electronics, Computer Science, automation, or equivalent
