Teradyne is seeking a Product Manager to join our growing team! This role will report to the Director and General Manager of the Precision Power and Analog(PPA) Group within the Semiconductor Test Division. In this role you will be driving the growth and profitability of our business in the dynamic Chinese market. The device types that we target are automotive SOC & battery management, Power semiconductors including SiC and GaN, computing & mobility power management, and a wide range of power linear devices. The role involves collaborating cross-functional team across Teradyne, including with marketing, engineering, sales, finance and operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify market trends and emerging customers.

• Grow market share by prioritizing, targeting, and supporting judicious design-in activities, including competitive differentiation and resource trade-offs.

• Product pricing strategy for the market, as well as working with sales on account discounting, including pricing approval to ensure rationalized pricing across the customer base.

• Develop competitive differentiation through sales and marketing collateral and training of sales and field engineers.

• Develop judicious customer relationships in cooperation with sales.

• Synthesize market and business results and forecast to support Quarterly Business Reviews, investor relations, and the executive management team.

• Development of the PPA mid-term plans, including the forward looking four year market size, share, margins, and core investments required to execute the plan.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

• 5+ years of marketing and/or sales experience, in semiconductor ATE industry.

• Mandarin Language fluency & ability to travel to China is required.

• Technical background is required with strong analytical skills; demonstrated engineering leadership is a strong advantage.

• BS, preferably in EE

• MBA preferred, or equivalent managerial experience.

• This position requires a person with very strong leadership, analytical, synthesis and integration skills. This role will require an extensive amount of integrating and visibility across all functions of the business and at all levels.

• A bility to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

• Travel of 20 – 30% to be expected.
