As part of our recent growth, we are looking into further digitizing our customer-facing web applications. The ecosystem today consists of several applications that support our customers, both pre- and post-sales, such as our Academy, Corporate Website, myUR Customer Portal and much more, and our journey has just begun. Therefore, we are expanding our teams.

We are looking for a frontend developer who thrives in an agile environment, has a strong human-centered design approach, and has a desire to learn and collaborate cross-functionally. A growth mindset and positive attitude are also a must. The primary responsibilities in the role will be to:

  • Develop awesome features for our product

  • Together with your team, balance the need for speed with a focus on excellent UI/UX and quality

  • Adhere to the lean and agile development process. Be part of the customer engagement, have the willingness to make product-specific decisions as a team, and be an active part of the overall product development process

  • Thrive in a dynamic work atmosphere. You will primarily develop web applications for our service department, where focus and requirements may change often

  • Ensuring that the solutions are compliant with the overall business strategy and expectations of your empowered product team

  • Securing scalable and state-of-the-art cloud solutions that support the growing business needs

Basic Qualifications & Skills

Your education is most likely in computer science/engineering or likewise, with at least 2 years of proven experience. You know how to build sophisticated software of high quality and have an open mindset and a positive attitude. You are a collaborative team player and can thrive in a work environment where changes occur regularly while remaining focused. The ideal candidate also has a strong focus on software quality and proven experience in search engine implementation and optimization.

To be successful in this role, we expect the following technical competencies from you:

  • Proficient in developing Typescript web applications (Angular).

  • Experience with lean or agile development in teams

  • Good communication skills and proficient in English

  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving skills

  • Solid verbal and written skills

  • Commitment to excellence, efficiency, and product quality

  • Solid presentation skills
