If you know what this means: Star Fish, Sail Boat, 5 why’s, “ask the team”, Kanban, “Agile Manifesto” - then please keep reading. :-)
We are looking for a Servant Leader who loves to facilitate and always thinks “it’s all about people”. We expect you to love helping the team create new experiments and coach them towards being empowered, self-managed and cross functional.
You also don’t step away from doing some training in areas where the team needs more knowledge or guidance. That could be anything from the Agile Manifesto and principles, Story Points, User Story Mapping and helping the Product Manager in how to describe the problems that the team needs to solve. When time permits, you also gladly help other teams and other parts of the organisation on striving for continuous improvement. We also expect that you guard the team from unplanned work and help the team to say no.
The team you will be part of currently consist of 7 highly skilled engineers/developers and a Software Tester. The team is part of a new Empowered Product team with a focus on a specific part of the software for our robots. We are in the transition from project teams towards fully empowered product teams that focus on solving real customer problems – not features. The product teams have full responsibility of converting customer problems to solutions that brings value.
On top of that we also have an Agile Center of Excellence that focuses on the systemic things but also helping where it’s needed. It’s something you might be part of depending on your areas of interest.
We expect you to have these competences, personal traits and experience with:
Facilitating workshops, events etc
Acting as a servant Leader
Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Lean and the like
Experience from a development setup
Good at communicating both verbally and written (English)
Several years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
