Teradyne Test Engineer in PENANG, Malaysia

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate need to work in Flex Penang plant and be responsible for Teradyne product support and failure analysis

  • Drive new product transfer, part qualification work, and software qualification work

  • Perform Design Verification on new product.

  • Interface with suppliers, others in Design Engineering, board test and manufacturing team to achieve desired performance goals.

  • Conduct product performance and reliability analysis to help improve product

  • Support external Teradyne customers with product performance

  • Initiate conference meeting with US engineering team on technical issues when necessary

    Requirements:

  • 5+ years of working experience with minimum EE bachelor’s degree.

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and able to work with limited supervision

  • Good communication skills, organization, multi-tasking ability and time management.

  • Experience on test equipment and device for test programming and test development experience highly preferred

  • Experience in operational performance evaluation (Efficiency/Evaluation) and implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies

  • Ability to read technical instructions, schematics, BOMs and understand AC circuit, R.L.C circuit

  • Understand frequency domain terminologies and the function of cables, fillers, attenuators

  • Knowledge of process related standards, SPC, ISO9000 and AS9100C.

  • Knowledge of RF connectors and analog PCBA debug experience

  • Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment

  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem solving skills

  • Strong background in process control tools.

  • Experience in Teradyne UltraFlex/UtraFlex+ System / IGXL Software / Failure Analysis and ATE is plus

  • Must be willing to travel to sites for training purposes
