Teradyne is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, Test Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide technical support to the Contract Manufacturer for executing of the product test process, troubleshooting and shipment to meet defined standards of quality and on-time delivery.

  • To identify critical test and quality issues, and driving the CM partner to closure.

  • Act as a primary interface with Test Development Engineering and the NPI team during the release of a new or revised test program.

  • As Teradyne's first point of contacts and escalation for test related issue.

  • To work with the CM partner to drive operation and quality improvement initiatives.

    Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

  • Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in software programming, PCBA test or assembly system test would be an key advantage.

  • Able to interface and effectively communicate with technology and engineering departments to resolve product test related issues.

  • Routine use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers and function generators in identifying failures and repair of assemblies with minimal technical assistance is required.

  • Analytical, team player, mature thinking, organized and high sense of urgency.

  • Flexible to work at multiple time zones is a must.
