Duties & Responsibilities:

Teradyne is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA

As a Field Service Engineer within our Global Services Organization (GSO) you will have opportunity to experience a range of activities, which vary week to week and sometimes day to day. The main responsibilities include:

  1. Respond to customer needs at the customer site to repair down systems.

  2. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on Teradyne systems at customer sites.

Other general responsibilities include:

  • Installing and de-installing test systems.

  • Training customers on proper maintenance procedures.

  • Travel to customer sites that occasionally require plane flights.

  • Document best practices.

  • Create proper documentation for all service work completed.

  • Collect and present service data (board and labor usage, MTBF, etc.) to customer.

  • Size and quote services.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

Qualified applicants must have:

  • Knowledge of Teradyne tester platforms preferred.

  • Five or more years experience servicing ATE.

  • College Degree.
