Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support Customers in diagnosis and repair of robots.

  • Provide remote technical support through multiple communication mediums with a focus on remote technical support.

  • Imperative to have relevant industrial technical service experience for robotic or CNC-like machinery.

  • Provide on-site technical support within 24 hours of report of down robot situation, if the solution can’t be remedied over the phone of via distribution and/or CSI Service personnel.

  • The process of becoming \"Certified\" will be done by Universal Robots. the successful candidate will be developed to the Certified level by successfully completing a number of training/coaching/competency classes.

  • The location of this role would best be located near a major airport in CA, Bay Area preferred or in the outer suburbs or near Sacramento.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

  • Two year technical degree or associates degree or equivalent military technical training.

  • English & Spanish Languages (oral & written) required: Very important for California Applicants; English & Spanish Languages (oral & written required), Portuguese and/or French additionally preferred.

  • U.S. Citizen and eligibility to comply to ITAR requirements required; (once hired, employee will be required to submit periodic and random drug testing).

  • Documented practical experience within automation and robot programming; it's important that the candidate has relevant industrial technical service experience for robotic or CNC-like machinery.

  • Experience with technical training and customer visits.

  • Good communication skills, ability to transfer knowledge and a good understanding of cross cultural differences.
