Teradyne Field Application Engineer in Science Park, Singapore
Organization & Role
The Teradyne Field Support team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.
Responsibilities
Provides first line onsite application support / consultation to customers
Develops characterization and production test programs to solve customers’ test problems
Supports customer in New Production Introduction/ test program offload to volume production
Collection of data and perform analysis on test issues
Reads DIB schematics and performs troubleshooting on hardware and software related issues
Works with customers to understand and optimize test processes
Acts as the liaison between factory and customers
Provides formal and on-the-job training to customers
Escalates service problem and takes ownership of problem until it is resolved.
Off-office hour support required
Basic Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 Years of experience required in test/product engineering
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Experience in IC component testing preferred
Strong team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
Willing to travel within and out of the country
Knowledge of ‘C’ or Visual Basic programming and windows. Handler and prober interface experience
