Teradyne FPGA Engineer in Sunnyvale, California
Duties & Responsibilities:
In your role as FPGA Engineer, you will be an integral part of a world class team designing the best of class wireless test equipment for Wifi and cellular products.
You will be working with cross functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and software to define the FPGA functionality, create custom specifications, deliver the design and perform the system integration test.
Develop multiplatform FPGA design for LitePoint’s new products.
Develop FPGA design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF/FW designers, and implement these in a timely and high quality manner.
Assist software engineering during integration phase and debug flow problems.
Develop and own functional blocks to be used on multiple platforms.
Hands on debug capability using lab equipment and JTAG.

Position Subject to ITAR/ FOUO controls:
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:
Degree: BSEE or MSEE
Design experience with Verilog or VHDL, synthesis tools, simulation tools and Xilinx EDA tools
Experiences implementing algorithms in FPGA, preferably DSP related.
Design experience implementing at least some of the following technologies, such as Gbit LAN, USB, PCIe, high speed ADC’s and DAC’s, DDR memory etc.
Python skills are desirable, for test and verification.
